I had a wonderful time during my stay in Bernal Heights, and this adorable apartment really helped make the stay memorable! The location is key, tasty destination restaurants at you doorstep, we enjoyed Mokis Sushi, Pequeos and the Mexican restaurant to name a few. I stayed here with my mother and 18month old daughter and the location was ideal for a family as well. Parks, library etc. all on Cortland. The apartment has a great little outdoor area and laundry on site which helped greatly. I commuted downtown daily on the bus/bart and found the commute very easy, 40 min door to door. We also easily walked to Misson st and Noe Valley. I would stay here again for sure if the opportunity arose!
This place is such a gem! It is nestled right in the heart of one of the best walking neighborhoods in San Francisco, filled with sunlight and art. I came here for work in September ( a decorating job) and was so pleasantly surprised by the decor and the general vibe of the place! It feels like a chic little apartment with great touches all around. The art is gorgeously displayed, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and the back deck and yard are awesome! Succulents, bouganvillea, and a shimmering disco ball and retro BBQ make dining in/outside just as excellent as walking to one of the local cafes, all of which are amazing from Peruvian, to Nepalese, to an excellent tapas/wine bar. A bit of a private oasis to come home to after a day in the city! I was able to park out front every night, and felt very secure/safe. Oh and breakfast at the Sandbox bakery is one of the best in the city..one block away..I wandered down and enjoyed a Japanese/French inspired pastry with the other folks with their babies, a dogs..sweet neighborhood indeed..I'll stay here whenever I have the good fortune to be in SF!
This place is perfect. Great, central location steps from the center of the adorable "village" like neighborhood of Bernal Heights, but still plenty quiet. Easy street parking. Thefurnishings are straight out of a design magazine, and the owners really thought of everything. We were incredibly comfortable during our 10 day stay and would happily recommend this place to a couple visiting SF.
